Head of Support Wellingborough

£45,254 with scope for performance related pay progression.
Fixed-term, 24 months • Wellingborough

Support Wellingborough is a group of housing, care and voluntary sector organisations committed to
working together to support people.

The post holder will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and securing funding and market opportunities
within a social enterprise, support service, context. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring
seamless, effective and efficient service delivery across organisational service delivery partner boundaries.

To be considered for this post you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of securing funding
through a formal commissioning process and have highly developed communication, presentation and
influencing skills. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working with a wide range of
organisations in situations requiring exceptional leadership, at a senior level, to be exercised without the
comfort of line management authority.

You will be knowledgeable about, and experienced, to senior management level, in at least one of the
support, housing or care or closely related sectors.

Trainee Diversity & HR Administration Officer

Term: Fixed Term (36 month traineeship)

Hours– Mon – Fri 37 hours (net) per week

Trainee (L3 Apprentice Equivalent)         

Salary: £16, 354.86 - £19,989.29

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic person with an eye for detail, an analytical mind and a flair for quantitative information analysis, reporting and communication.

Working within our Organisational Development team, we are looking for someone to undertake a range of quantitative Equality & Diversity Impact Assessments in addition to a wealth of HR administration roles and responsibilities.

The successful applicant will need to be very numerate, already having, or willing to build, a sound knowledge, and be, or have the potential to become, skilled in the application, of basic statistical methods.

In addition they will have a genuine interest in developing their skills set in human resources administration with a view to achieving an HR related qualification during the traineeship.

To be considered for this post you must be able to demonstrate in your application form, and short listed candidates will be required to demonstrate during their assessment:

  1. Strong numeracy skills
  2. Five Grade A* - C GCSE (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
  3. Well developed analytical skills
  4. Good personal organisation skills
  5. Good communication skills
  6. Good inter-personal skills
  7. An eye for detail and accuracy
  8. Strong computer literacy skills
  9. The ability to manage a workload of diverse activities with minimal supervision

Ideally you will be able to evidence:

  • A qualification to level 3 (GCE A level or similar) in mathematics or statistics (or a subject with a substantial statistical data analysis element)
  • An educational or vocational qualification in business administration/business at Level 2 or 3.
