When Wellingborough Homes began life in December 2007, we promised to improve the condition of tenants' homes through a major refurbishment programme.  We're well on track to deliver that promise, having already spent more than £4.7 million on improvements and aids and adaptations.

It's full steam ahead from 2009 to 2012, as we're set to spend around £31 million pounds on a major home improvement programme across Wellingborough and the surrounding areas.  This will be the biggest investment in Wellingborough's rented homes for many years.

The works will include:

• Fitting new kitchens and bathrooms
• Replacing external windows and doors
• Installing new heating systems
• Carrying out electrical improvements
• Roof replacements.

The extent of the work done in each property will depend upon the current condition of your home, but we expect most residents will receive a new kitchen (unless you've recently had yours replaced).
