Wellingborough Homes - return to home

Getting involved

Wellingborough Homes believes that every tenant should have a say about how their housing service is run. This can be achieved in lots of ways from taking part in satisfaction surveys to sitting on a topic panel about repairs or by becoming an active member of the Tenant Action Group.

There are many ways to get involved, it's not all about sitting in meetings!

Taking part in phone surveys - these can be about anything from anti-social behaviour to the cleanliness of your street.

Becoming a 'Mystery Shopper' and scoring the service you receive each time you visit the Customer Service Centre or each time you're visited at home by a contractor.

Joining a topic panel. Wellingborough Homes currently has topic panels for Anti-Social Behaviour and Repairs and are always looking for new members. These groups discuss the policies and procedures you agree to in your tenancy as well as look at new ways to improve the service you receive from them.

Become a member of TAG (Tenants Action Group). TAG has been running for two years and has been very involved with the decisions made about the transfer to Wellingborough Homes. This group regularly hears reports from the tenants on the Wellingborough Homes Board, it has the power to invite staff members along to the meetings and is often the key group for tenant consultation.

This group meets on the last Thursday of each month in the Customer Service Centre - 7pm until 9pm.

If you're interested in becoming a member of TAG or would like any information about the other ways you can get involved please call Jennifer on 01933 234450 or e-mail Jennifer.Barnard@WHomes.org
